New Hampstead K8 will celebrate "Read Across America Week"

from March 2nd to March 6th!

This year's theme is "Books Make Us Bloom!"

Monday, March 2: "Plant the Seed of Reading"

Students wear green, florals or nature colors.

Tuesday, March 3: "Grow Your Mind"

Students wear school uniform accessorized with silly hats, caps, or headbands.

Wednesday, March 4: “Curl Up With a Good Book"

Students wear school uniforms and bring a plushie.

To ensure there are "NO LOST Stuff Animals" or sad owners, label your child's full name on the item.

Thursday, March 5th: “Readers Become Leaders"

Students dress as the main character from their favorite book. No face masks or face coverings permitted.

No props that resemble weapons are allowed.

Friday, March 6th: “Watch Us Grow"

Students wear school colors or spirit apparel.
