Remote Learning Days for NHK8 Students

Students will remain home and learn independently during District designated Independent Remote Learning (IRL) days. Students will NOT report to school for learning. Learning tasks will be made available through district designated or teacher assigned learning platforms and/or print based assignments.

When students login to their Classlink account at home, they also have access to Discovery Education, BrainPop and BrainPop Jr.

Unlock a world of free resources for school and beyond!

PLAY (PINES Library Access for Youth) gives Georgia public school students fine-free access to millions of library materials—online and in the library. Students in participating districts automatically receive a PLAY account when they are assigned a student number at school. Now, students enrolled in Chatham, Effingham and Liberty County public school systems  can get their very own PLAY CARD to help them access their PLAY account.

How does a PLAY CARD work?

PLAY Cards provide public school students with free access to library resources and services. 

Starting in September, 2025, a student from any participating school system can pick up a  PLAY CARD at all Live Oak Public Libraries branches. It's free!

Students simply use their student ID/lunch number as their PLAY account number to access all of Live Oak Public Libraries’ onsite and online resources—worry-free, because PLAY accounts are fine-free.
